This chasuble is one of Slabbinck's classic designs. Designed by their art studio during World War II, the design has become a favored choice for the celebration of the Eucharist during worship. The ornate cross is embroidered with gold thread and surrounded by a man, a lion, an ox, and an eagle, symbols of the the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John respectively.
This vestment is constructed from white moiré (a silk and man-made fiber blend), appropriate for Masses celebrated at Christmas and Easter, feasts and solemnities. The chasuble measures fifty-three inches long and fifty-nine inches wide with a 25-1/2 inch neck which has a 3-1/2 inch roll collar. An underlay stole is included.
This chasuble is imported from Belgium and therefore subject to appropriate declaration, duties and taxes required by U.S. Customs. To ensure your organization is appropriately charged, or exempt, please provide your FEI number in the comments portion of your order.
