One of Slabbinck's most beautiful offerings, the Good Shepherd chasuble is designed and crafted in their workshop in the city of Bruges, in Belgium, where the family owned business has provided vestments for more than a century. A stunning image of Christ, depicted as the Good Shepherd, is embroidered in vibrant colors on the front of the Gothic style chasuble. The orphrey is embellished with embroidered emblems familiar to the celebration of the Mass and surrounded by lively floral patterns. On either side, symbols of Christ as the Lamb and the Pelican are embroidered and the ecru chasuble is finished off in gold braiding. An underlay stole is included.
The Good Shepherd chasuble is cut in a Gothic style with a rolled collar and lined. It measures fifty-three inches in length and sixty-three inches wide. The chasuble is made from a moiré fabric which is fifty-five percent cotton and 45 percent man-made fibers. This vestment offers a most beautiful way to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
This chasuble is imported from Belgium and therefore subject to appropriate declaration, duties and taxes required by U.S. Customs. To ensure your organization is appropriately charged, or exempt, please provide your FEI number in the comments portion of your order.
