This liturgical vestment set is an exclusive design from Slabbinck, commissioned for the Centennial Celebration of the Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. Curved strokes flow around the vestment, representing the believers gathered around the figure of Our Lady in the square of the pilgrimage site; separate, yet joined in prayer. White symbolizes the immense light that shone during the apparitions. Gold and silver symbolize the decorations on the robes of Our Lady. The snowy white color of the fabric makes this vestment an excellent choice for celebration of the Mass during the liturgical seasons of Christmas and Easter and for feasts, solemnities, Baptism and burials.
This lined chasuble is made from Sentia, a fifty-five percent silk, forty-five percent man-made fiber fabric. The strokes are machine-embroidered in silver, gold and old-gold threads. It has a Gothic style neck and measures fifty-three inches long and fifty-nine inches wide. An underlay stole is included.
