This tabernacle will serve its most holy purpose of housing the Eucharist in your church with a design offering beauty as well as utility. The symbols incorporated on the door are full of meaning. The initials IC and XC represent the Greek style of abbreviation for "Jesus" and "Christ". The initials resembling NI and KA represent the verb "nika", which means "to conquer, win, be victorious". The complete meaning of the combined symbols translates to, "Jesus Christ is victorious", a fitting and glorious proclamation for the tabernacle which houses the True Presence.
The symbols rest on a hinged door that opens via a vault lock, giving access to the inner box which holds the Eucharist. Two keys are provided. The inner box is lined with white fabric. Additionally, a small drawer is cleverly incorporated into the steps below the door. This tabernacle is made of bronze and measures twenty-six inches high, 19-1/2 inches wide and nineteen inches deep. You may order it in a high polish or satin finish.
Key fobs are available at an additional cost. You may also order this tabernacle from the F.C. Ziegler Company in brass. The image at the left shows a high polish gold finish. Please call us for pricing or if you desire customization. Our toll-free number is 1(800)331-4117.
