This pyx is made of brass and economically priced. Because it is made of brass, we recommend using it for carrying host that has not yet been consecrated. The emblem on top of the pyx is a small Crucifix. The lid is attached with a hinge and opens via a small metal button that fastens to hold the host securely in place.
