For over 80 years Zieglers has been a  leading manufacturer of ecclesiastical metalware. Over the years we have evolved into a company offering a wide array of products and services. Unlike many of today's political and social pundits, Frank Ziegler was never the least bit confused about the meaning of family, values,  or family values . Everyone who knew F.C. Ziegler would be quick to tell you that his life and his work were the very essence of these terms.

In order to understand the kind of business that F.C. Ziegler Company is, you need only understand the kind of man F.C. Ziegler was. Born in South Dakota in 1900, his family moved to Tulsa when he was very young. Reared in a traditional Catholic family in an overwhelmingly non-Catholic part of the country, he developed a strong sense of community with his fellow parishioners at St. Francis Xavier Parish.

In 1929, during the birth of the Great Depression, he started a jewelry manufacture and repair shop. During World War II, local priests asked if he would begin making chalices and other sacred vessels. Considering it his duty to the Church, he said yes. It also happened to be a unique business opportunity at a time when opportunities of any kind were becoming increasingly rare.

With this little bit of providence, F.C. Ziegler Co. grew steadily, adapting to the many changes in the Church and in society. By 1965, it was one of the country's leading manufactures of ecclesiastical metalware. After Vatican II, many businesses in the industry failed, for various reasons, but F.C Ziegler Co. persevered. In the 1970's, the company instituted a delivery service. Shortly thereafter, branch stores were opened in Wichita, Kansas and the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Today, more than 70 years later, F.C.Ziegler Co. is the country's most integrated supplier, manufacturer and distributor of products to satisfy the needs of church institutions.

"F.C." oversaw the company's growth right up until his death in the summer of 1993. Through great faith and simple values, he understood that any business that dealt exclusively with the Church could only survive -and thrive- by maintaining an uncommon degree of honesty and integrity. And it is those qualities which he instilled in the operators of today's F.C. Ziegler Co. his children and grandchildren.

Supply and Distribution

Warehouse.
The most recent addition to the F.C. Ziegler family is a 7000-sq.-ft. warehouse at our Tulsa location, in which we keep an inventory of thousands of items. Staples such as candles, altar wine, hosts, and incense can be promptly supplied to you via our efficient delivery system. Same day shipping is available on most items in our catalog.

Candles.
Because F.C. Ziegler always believed in building solid customer relationships instead of merely selling products, he insisted that our full line of candles always be delivered free of charge. And not simply delivered, but carefully placed in your storage.

This customer-service philosophy is the foundation of our  distribution operation.

Palms.
Our warehouse features a cooler specially designed to store raw palm during Lent. A special service to our customers, our cooler keeps palm fresh until it is ready to be stripped and bagged. We then ship your order before Palm Sunday, so it will arrive in perfect condition at your church in plenty of time before weekend services.

Exclusive Distribution.
In addition to expanding our physical facilities, we recently added a number of top-of-the-line furnishings and supplies to our distribution network. In 1992, we were solicited by Stadelmaier of Nijmegen, Holland, to be the southwest's exclusive supplier of their chasubles and other liturgical apparel. We are also one of 15 U.S. companies chosen by Slabbinck Co. of Belgium to sell their "Master Collection" of vestments and paraments.

Retail

Catholic Art & Gifts, the retail component of F.C. Ziegler Co., offers the finest in traditional and modern religious articles for clergy and laity alike. Our showrooms offer:

Refinishing
F.C. Ziegler Co. has grown into a company with expertise in all types of church-related artistic services, from the design and installation of stained glass and mosaic to the restoration and refinishing of church heirlooms.

Design.
Our award-winning designers have been producing tasteful, reverent artwork for churches for years. To execute our designs, we commission some of the finest stained glass and mosaic artists in the world. Our design department is fast becoming one of the most highly regarded in this part of the country.

Renovation and Refinishing

F.C. Ziegler Co. has long been a national leader in the restoration, repair and refinishing of Church metalware. Our craftsmen, with several centuries of combined experience, have over the years expanded their field of expertise to include mosaics, stained glass, wood and marble furniture, Italian wood carvings, decorative painting and statuary media, including bronze, fiberglass and plaster of Paris.

With supreme patience and painstaking precision, we will work to renew all manner of furnishings and ornamentation, even items which you may consider beyond repair. We have yet to meet an impossible task.
