Our Blessed Mother appeared to three boys in Cuba as they gathered salt from their boat in the Nipa Bay of Cuba. The original statue was carved in Spain and now resides in a shrine near the copper mines of the Sierra Maestra Mountains. Devout Cuban Catholics feel a special attachment to her and refer to her lovingly as "Cachita". The Virgin is rendered here in beautiful detail as she appears to the three boys in the boat. The resin statue has gold accents and stands thirteen inches high.
