This cope was designed to coordinate with vestments commissioned by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007. The cop, designed and created in Belgium by Slabbinck is now available from the F.C. Ziegler Company, and will make a reverently beautiful vestment for procession. The cope is made from Cantate fabric, which is wool with one percent Lurex gold treads interwoven throughout. The trim band is gold and silver embroidered silk with a subtle, nubby texture. The standard length of this cope is fifty-seven inches, but custom sizing is available by calling the F.C. Ziegler Company.
