This version of the Tassilo chalice from the Molina Artistic Silver collection is similar to the larger Tassilo chalice. This version is a simplified, slighly smaller one standing 7-3/8 inches high with a cup diameter of 5-1/8 inches. The figures on the base represent the Blessed Mother, Saint Paul of Tarsus, Saint John the Baptist and Saint Theodore. On the cup, the Pantocrator and the Four Evangelists are represented. It has a two-tone silver and gold plate finish and the cup is lined in twenty-four karat gold. This chalice is also available from the F.C. Ziegler Company with a sterling silver inner cup, or constructed from all sterling silver.
