Saint Lucy is said to have been martyred, her eyes gouged out before her death because of her refusal to waver from her faith.  She is depicted here holding a dish with two eyes laid upon it in one hand.  The other hand holds a palm branch, the symbol of martyrdom.  The Saint Lucy statue measures six inches high and is made of resin.
