Saint Francis and Saint Clare are featured on this small medal from Italy. Saint Francis of Assisi is one of the most well-known and beloved saints. He founded multiple men's orders of friars. Saint Clare took a vow of poverty and became a follower of Saint Francis of Assisi; she founded the order we know today as the Poor Clares.
