Inspired by late 19th- and early 20th-century German models, this richly ornamented brass monstrance is finished in 24-karat gold plating and accented with red stones and colorful enamel details. The magnificent glory combines radiant sunburst rays with an elaborate layer of open filigree adorned with silver-plated medallions depicting the Apostles.
Encircling the gold-rimmed luna case is a blue-enameled Latin inscription: “Ecce Agnus Dei Qui Tollis Peccata Mundi” — “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” The stem and node are enhanced with fine filigree work, while the round base features silver-plated medallions of the Evangelists, beautifully finished in enamel.
This striking monstrance offers both theological depth and artistic refinement, making it a powerful focal point for Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction.
