How to Pamper Your Palm for a Joyous Palm Sunday:
- To keep the palm strips fresh, do not open the plastic bags until just before distribution on Palm Sunday.
- Immediately upon arrival, store bags in a cool, dry area, 40° to 50° Fahrenheit. Do not freeze.
- If you do not have access to refrigeration, open each box and remove three or four unopened plastic bags of palm from the box. This will allow circulation, preventing the heat build-up that will cause break-down of the plant material. Keep palm cool and dry.
