Basic Scope
  • Establish and lead the performance objectives for manufacturing activities.

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years experience in similar positions.
We are seeking a highly skilled and confident Bench Technician with 3-5 years of experience in setting up and operating manual lathes, manual mills, drills, shears, rollers, and benders. Experience with soldering and welding a plus. This is a Master Craftsman Apprentice position, which will include guidance and mentorship. This position requires an individual that is proactive, eager to take on responsibility, and bring general manufacturing to the role.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or sample parts to ensure accurate production.
  • Utilize drill guides, drill jigs, weld jogs, and fixtures to produce precise components - should have knowledge of these tools.
  • Take precise measurements for cutting, shaping, and assembly.
  • Select and set up appropriate machines and settings for specific tasks.
  • Use various measuring equipment such as calipers, scales, rulers, and micrometers to ensure the highest level of accuracy.

Job Qualifications
  • 3-5 Years of accounting experience, preferably in AP
  • Code and input accounts payable invoices correctly
  • Print accounts payable checks on a weekly basis
  • Familiarity with the big picture and monthly accounting cycles of G/L, A/P, A/R
  • Proficiency is required using automated accounting systems
  • Fits our company culture, pitching in when and where needed
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills
  • Able to communicate verbally in a clear manner

Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Internship

FC Ziegler is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern to join our team. This part-time internship offers an excellent opportunity for a junior or senior college student pursuing a degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and impactful work environment.
The intern will support EHS efforts in a variety of safety and environmental functions, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of workplace safety standards and compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in hazard identification, incident investigations, and safety audits
  • Support ergonomic evaluations, equipment assessments, and data collection/entry
  • Help maintain the chemical inventory and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Assist in the development and revision of safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct safety research to support regulatory compliance and best practices
  • Provide support in maintaining DOT driver files and assist with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
  • Help with PPE standardization and inventory coordination
  • Organize and schedule environmental and safety testing
  • Learn and support aspects of Workers' Compensation claims
  • Perform other duties as assigned to gain a broad understanding of EHS operations
Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university in an Environmental, Health, and Safety program or a closely related field
  • Standing as a junior or senior is required
  • Available to work 10–20 hours per week
Knowledge and Skills
  • Basic understanding of OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, EPA, DEQ, and DOT
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to responsibilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or other data entry tools preferred

Moderate physical demands, including extended periods of sitting and standing
