Kateri Tekakwitha was a young lady who lived over 300 years ago. Her family was part of the Mohawk tribe. Sadly, when she was only four years old, an illness called smallpox took both of her parents and she was left with poor eyesight and many scars. As Kateri grew up with an aunt and uncle, she learned more about the Catholic faith. She decided she would not marry and instead devote her life to the faith as she studied the Catechism. She endured much opposition from her people on this decision.
This Little Drops of Water statue is made of resin and stands three inches tall. Saint Kateri Tekakwitha wears a set of rosary beads and holds a cross and lilies in her hands. The lilies are a sign of purity. Order this statue to add to your collection!
