    FIt, wear, and comfort

I moved to wearing Solivari a few years ago. I find the shirts excell in fit, wear, and comfort.

    Very satisfied

I have bought clergy shirts from several major brands over the years. They are all fine shirts if a bit over priced. These are the most reasonably priced shirts (I have never tried the really cheap ones from China) and the best -- at least so far. I have only had them a short time. The seams do not pucker at the threading, as all of the other shirts did. And the cut is a tad slimmer which fits my slim build a lot better. In short, I plan to make this my brand for all future purchases.

    Good fit

As noted by others, this shirt has a good European tailored fit. Fits well without being excessively big or baggy looking.

The best clerical shirt EVER #aclericalshirtthatactuallylooksgoodforonce

You may recall the scene from the Sound of Music where Maria (Julie Andrews) fashions outfits for the Von Trapp children out of the draperies. If you do, then you know precisely the method most clerical shirt companies use to fashion their clericals. Quite frankly, friends, I'm sick of it! I'm sick of all those billowy tuck-in cassocks they keep marketing to us as shirts. It's like they're sending us the subtle message, "you might be skinny now, seminarian boy, but soon you'll be gargantuan priest. You might as well get a clerical you can grow 150 lbs. into." Well, boys, I am elated to inform you that, after extensive research, I have finally found a clerical shirt that fits perfectly right out of the box. Gents, If you're a relatively fit seminarian or priest looking for a trim, softly-tailored, daily-use, clerical shirt, look no further than the Solivari Tab Collar Shirt (SOL9MM). In my opinion, this shirt meets all the specs. It has a slightly tailored cut that fits like a dress shirt should. It looks professional. It tucks in nicely with only a slight blouse above the belt. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a chauncey boy's skinny shirt. No, it's a tastefully tapered professional's shirt. Also, the sleeves terminate nicely about 1.5 - 2 inches above the elbow, which means it won't look like your dad's hawaiian, backyard-bbq shirt. Instead, you'll look like a priest should look, that is, unostentatious, handsome and professional. Additionally, the material is high-quality. The 65%poly: 35% cotton ratio is ideal, since it remains black after many washes and feels soft and supple to the touch. In conclusion, if you're the guy with no fashion sense, looking for your standard tabby shirt or you're a base jumper looking for a clerical big enough to parachute with, then mark my words: THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! No. Not at all. But, if you're the somewhat-fit to very-fit guy with at least a minimal appreciation for aesthetics and professional attire, then the Solivari tabby is for you.
    God Bless.

Also, remember to do your holy hour daily. Don't get caught up in thinking about shirts and stuff.

    Very good fit

Posted by Unknown on 23rd Sep 2014

I truly enjoy this shirt. Most of the clergy shirts are very big and baggy. This one is rather a slim fit, not in the true sense of the fashion world but certainly in the word of the clergy.

I would recommend this product for those who are slim and want to have a shirt that fits rather than one that flies in the wind.

I had no issues with buttons as some others did.

Stitching is strong, that's for sure

Overall, I am happy with this shirt. But the first few times trying to put the top button through the hole was very difficult. It was like breaking through the fabric.

    Crisp, Clean Fit

I just received this shirt, so I can't comment on durability, but so far so good. I was tired of the "US" cuts that were so roomy (read, baggy) for smaller bellied folks. I like the look of this shirt and it is a very nice weight.
