Bishop-Elect David Konderla comes to us from the heart of Aggie land in College Station, TX where he has served as vocation director and pastor for St. Mary's Catholic Center(one of the most vibrant Catholic centers amongst college students in the country). Father David Konderla was born on June 3, 1960 and grew up in Bryan, Texas and is the second of 12 children of David and Ann Konderla. Father Konderla worked as a machinist until entering seminary in 1985. While attending Holy Trinity Seminary he earned an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Dallas in 1989 and earned a Master of Divinity degree from the University of St. Thomas while attending St. Mary's Seminary. Father Konderla was ordained a priest on June 3, 1995, by Bishop John McCarthy.
Father Konderla has had the privilege of being born and raised in Texas and serving the Diocese of Austin since his ordination. We at the F.C.
