The pieces of this nativity set seem to lovingly hold each other. The first of four nesting pieces is an image of a little lamb looking up at the Christ Child. Mary's hands are held together just above where Christs head will be. In turn, Joseph's outstretched arms surround Mary, yet seem to welcome Jesus. The largest piece is an angel, her hands outstretched and her wings meeting above the whole scene to hold a star.
